Overfill protection — also known as a tank overfill prevention system or overfill prevention system — stops a tank from overfilling during loading. The system monitors the level limit and intervenes automatically.
How does an overfill protection system work?
A level sensor detects when the liquid approaches the limit value. Once that level is reached, the system triggers an overfill alarm and a controlled shutdown of the loading or unloading process.

Wireless overfill protection makes installation faster and more flexible. In explosive atmospheres, an explosion-proof, ATEX-approved overfill protection system is required.
